About the event

Join us for a unique foraging walk at Wacker Quay, a stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in SE Cornwall, where tidal estuary meets ancient woodland. From 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM, expert forager Vix Hill-Ryder will guide you through this diverse landscape, helping you identify a rich variety of edible and medicinal plants that thrive along the water’s edge and beneath the woodland canopy.

Learn to safely forage for coastal greens, estuary herbs, and woodland plants, discovering their traditional uses for food and medicine. Vix will share her deep knowledge of wild plant lore, sustainable harvesting, and creative ways to incorporate foraged ingredients into your daily life.
